For sale is my pride and joy, it has been a tough decision to make but it is costing me a fortune to keep in storage/ taxed/ insured ect as I run two cars. As you can imagine this car only comes out when it is dry, the underbody is in very good condition for its age and the added bonus of being undercoated. The body work is in really good condition as well as being a very unique colour. The metalic green may not be to everyone's taste but I love the rarity and it always draws attention. The interior is even cleaner again, no tears in the upholstery, no cracks in the dash, no marks or sagging on the headliner... everything looks as fresh as the day is left the factory. The only thing that really needs addressing for it to be perfect is it could do with a new gear gaiter cover. Altho it's really not bad the leather is just a little bit cracked.
If you check the MOT history online you can see it has never failed an MOT, truly a rare thing to find on such an old car. It has been cared for well and serviced well. The car is equipped with the tried and tested M10 4 cylinder injection engine known to go on forever. I personally know of 4 1. 8 M10 engines that have lasted over 300, 000 miles without a rebuild. It may be a little bit more agricultural that the flat 6 but its far better on fuel and in my opinion just as much fun for the fact its much lighter. with only 79000 miles on the clock it runs like clock work and fires up everytime. Even when it's been sat a while. The car currently has no leaks as any BMW enthusiast will tell you is rare on any BMW.
In my ownership I have serviced the following:
Fan belt/ drive belt
Oil, Oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, rear differential oil, gearbox oil.
Before sale I can give it another oil change and and a new oil filter. I also have have new ignition leads and spark plugs which can be done or I can just give the parts with the car.
I have the 14" original bottle top wheels with nearly brand new tyres aswell as some genuine BMW/ BBS wheels that are currently on the car. Both sets will be included with the car or we can drop the price accordingly.
